The Royal Canadian Circus Supports Local Calgary Charities
The Royal Canadian Circus is committed to bringing affordable family entertainment to the cities that it visits. However, we also know that buying a ticket to the circus is beyond the reach of many. In Alberta alone, over 100,000 children live below the poverty line. We truly believe that every child should have the chance to experience the magic of the circus. That is why the Royal Canadian Circus has teamed up with Kids Up Front to put tickets in to the hands of 1200 children who would otherwise never get to see the show.
Founded in 1999 in Calgary, Kids Up Front has sent over 1 million children to events across Canada through their mission to provide access to arts, culture, sports and recreation to children who otherwise would not have the opportunity. Royal Canadian Circus is proud to be a part of this wonderful initiative.
Our commitment to local charities does not end when the final guest leaves the big top. A portion of the proceeds from the 16 Calgary shows will be donated to the Calgary South Asian Lions Club, a non-profit organization and branch of Lions Club International. In Calgary and across Canada, Lions organizations support such projects as Operation Eyesight, STARS Air Ambulance and many other community based projects. We are happy to aid such a worthwhile organization in supporting the community of Calgary.
As our circus family nears Calgary, we are getting excited to share the experience with you. We hope you can join us under the big top and….Be Amazed!
