Big Top Circus Coming to Etobicoke’s Woodbine Mall grounds

The circus is coming to town.

The Royal Canadian Family Circus is bringing its SPECTAC! big top show to the grounds of Woodbine Mall
from Aug. 4 to 7.

The show includes the thrilling duo Guerrero High Wire, who were featured on America’s Got Talent, appearing in Canada for the first time. The circus also includes Aerial Motor Cycle Cyclone, the Acrobatic Strap and Silk act, Zerbini Liberty Horses, a hula hoop maze, the Dominguez Super Poodles, aerialists, Espana Motorcycle Globe of Death, clowns and more.

There will be no exotic animals.

“It’s an incredible showcase of elite circus acts from all around the world that has been designed for multi-generational families,” said ringmaster Joseph Bauer, a ninth-generation circus performer, in a news release. “It’s the essence of a traditional circus, and this year, families from throughout the GTA will be fascinated by the amazing new global cast of performers coming to perform for families.”

Show times are 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday; noon, 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday. The big top will be at the Woodbine Mall parking lot at 500 Rexdale Blvd.
