1. The Royal Canadian International Circus Performing at American Dream – September 14th-23rd

For the first time in its tour history, the Royal Canadian International Circus (RCIC) is coming to New Jersey. The Big Top will be set up at 1 American Dream Way for 14 shows. RCIC is a modern, family-focused circus event that has been entertaining families for over half a century. 2. Visit the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus, NJ

The Bergen County Zoo is a popular, and family-friendly, zoo in the Bergen County. What makes the Bergen County Zoo special is its focus on wildlife from North and South America. Visitors have the unique opportunity to see some of the most rare and unusual species, such as Baird’s Tapir, Andean Condor, American Alligator, and Golden Lion Tamarin.  The zoo aims to develop and maintain exhibits which emphasize natural behavior, encourage longevity, and promote breeding success.

3. Visit the Hermitage Museum in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ

The Hermitage Museum in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ is a national historical landmark. During the American Revolution, it was positioned in the middle of the British and the Americans. Visitors have the unique opportunity to visit the 250-year-old mansion where a celebration of nature bursts forth in every room. On September 16th, the Museum will be hosting the Hermitage Food Truck Festival between 11am-5pm. 4. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Lyndhurst, NJ

The show’s tournament is like no other. The top knights will battle with brawn and steel to determine one victor to protect the throne.  The event venue offers castle birthday, group outing packages as well as military discounts. Kids celebrating their birthdays at the Medieval Times will have the opportunity to celebrate in style with cake, cheering banners, and a knight ceremony. 5. Experience Millburn’s Rocktoberfest

Millburn’s Rocktoberfest in September is not just a regular music festival for music lovers. It is a fun, exciting and unique event that both kids and adults can enjoy. There will be an eclectic array of cuisine and shopping, cultural attractions, and inclusive events that everyone can enjoy…regardless of age. Also in town is the Montclair Farmers’ Market, which is held every Saturday at the Walnut Street Train Station. It features local farmers and food vendors offering no shortage of fresh produce, prepared foods, baked goods, condiments, flowers and more.
